  15. costume designer and costume-maker for movies, theater and
  16. opera; of an undisclosed cause; in Rome. Tirelli, who started
  17. his career as an errand boy in a Milan fabric store, made
  18. costumes for The Leopard, Amadeus, Once upon a Time in America
  19. and The Name of the Rose, as well as for diva Maria Callas in
  20. Luchino Visconti's production of Bellini's Norma. His work has
  21. been exhibited at the Louvre in Paris and at New York City's
  22. Metropolitan Museum of Art.
